Hazel Loves Design proud to be ‘Supporting New Zealand’s Indie Design world in a REAL way.’ Hazel Loves Design is the team behind ‘Hazed Magazine’, ‘Craft Love Festival’, ‘Indies Anonymous’ and ‘Craft Lab’.

I initially started Hazel Loves Design as an online mood board of images collated to help me determine what my dream store would look like. Since then Hazel Loves Design has evolved into quite the community and is now flourishing whilst proudly supporting New Zealand’s hidden talent. I live in Christchurch with my husband and young son.

KATRINA ROBINSON
I’m a wife and mother of two living in scenic Nelson where I was born and raised. I initially started my blog, Offsquare, as a way of cataloguing my sewing and refashioning projects after my son was born. Because I’m happiest when writing or sewing, it’s really a perfect fit for me. I love a good before/after photo and am a sucker for anything DIY
KATE GASKELL

My husband and I live in Nelson with our two beautiful young girls. I have a diploma in photography and enjoy anything creative. With a passion for art, photography, DIY and interior design, I also love to combine any of these together when I can.

JUSTINE BALCAR
Redflax began back in 2008, as a desperate need for a creative outlet, whilst I was negotiating the ups and downs of being an at home mum. It made sense to create with an upcycling theme partly because I didnt have a budget to buy new materials, but mostly because its kinder to the planet, and a fantastic creative challenge!  Seeing something that has been discarded transformed into a beautiful crafted piece that brings joy to others is my ultimate creative buzz.
I recently completed a diploma in fashion design at CPIT, and am utilising what I learnt to run redflax recreative workshops using recycled materials.  I have also started back working as a youth worker (my other passion).  I am currently exploring ways to combine my creativity with my job, by running workshops with young people, so that I can have the best of both worlds!
